Vantage Bank is now hiring a full-time Operational Associate in Alexandria, MN. The primary responsibilities of this position include:
- Greeting and assisting customers in a courteous and pleasant manner
- Perform teller transactions with professionalism and accuracy
- Originate documentation required to open or close all types of deposit accounts.
- Daily balancing of cash drawer and transactions
- Support online banking, bill pay and mobile application usage
- Place orders for debit cards, checks and credit cards as requested
- Balancing, posting and auditing of internal accounts
- Complete fraud and transaction exception tracking
- Identifying customers' needs and cross selling products and services
- Audit file completeness and track file exceptions
- Obtain information related to the loan origination process including: ordering appraisals, credit reports and title support
- Package loan files in accordance with corresponding checklists based on loan type
- Assist in managing loan files for compliance and file completeness
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Reconcile customer’s accounts if requested
- Complete internal reporting as assigned
- Complete regulatory compliance assignments in the established timeline
- Prepare and reconcile official checks
- Create coupon books as requested
- Wrap coin as received through the coin machine
Qualifications:
- A minimum of two years industry experience
- Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
- Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures
Experience with Microsoft Office products including Word and Excel
Skills and Abilities:
- Attention to detail
- Possess a strong desire to help customers with their financial needs
- Self-motivated and demonstrate a desire for self-improvement
- Be able to work in an environment that demands resourcefulness, flexibility, and teamwork
- Must have excellent interpersonal and organization skills
- Must have basic math and computer skills.
