Jeff Montgomery began his career in banking 40 years ago as a teller for his father at First National Bank of Breckenridge. He went on to earn degrees in finance, accounting, and political science at the University of Minnesota, Moorhead. Over the years, Jeff worked for several regional banks and held numerous positions including loan officer, credit analyst, commercial lender, head of lending and Vice President. Being able to own and lead Vantage Bank has been a lifelong goal realized. Jeff brings a diverse knowledge of banking and finance to Vantage. He has earned a reputation as a solid and honest leader who possesses a sharp business acumen, unique in the banking world today. His commitment to creating a positive working environment was recognized in 2020 by the ICBA when he received the National award for the “Best Community Bank to work for”. He and his wife Bobbi have 2 grown children Parker and Kennedy. |
